Spenser Bartholomew’s “after” look
Spenser is a student at Jefferson City High School. She enjoys being part of a ukulele band and has achieved the goal of being the first freshman girl to qualify for the National Speech and Debate Tournament. To celebrate, after the tournament she decided to undergo an extreme transformation that she had been thinking about for five months. After searching through photos of many short hair styles, she came across the trendy lavender shade and knew she had to have it.
THE STYLE:
Hair: Spenser made the bold move of having 14 inches cut off into an edgy pixie cut and transformed her dirty blonde hair to different shades of lavender. Before blow drying Spenser’s hair, Aveda’s Pure Abundance Styling Prep and Volumanizing Tonic Smooth Infusion Styling Crème was run through the hair. To style, Candi straightened through her hair and added Aveda Control Paste and Pure Abundance Hair Potion for added lift and texture.
Makeup: Aveda concealer and pressed powder was added to even out Spenser’s youthful skin tone. To create definition, bronzer was dusted over the face and blush to the cheeks. Her eyes were emphasized with nude shadows and black mascara. To finish off her youthful look, Magenta Berry lipstick was applied for the ultimate pop of color.
Wardrobe: Spenser is sporting a soft comfort knit hi-low “shark bite” top (shown tucked in to accentuate her slim figure) and black & white damask print palazzo pants. We added a white beaded multi strand necklace to brighten her features without weighing her down.
